Trouble Moving

Post by davesrailwayphotos »

Hi guys, any help with this one?

I can move a L/E loco off fine, and couple up to stock correctly (at less than 5MPH it hasn't crashed) but as soon as i am connected i cannot move. I have the regulator and reverser both set, with 21 inches of vacumn (steam) and no handbrakes on the coaching stock but it will not move. this has happened on botht the Gloucester Warwickshire and Skipton - Carlise. However, if i start the activity coupled to the stock then i can move no problem

any ideas?

Hi

It sounds like it could be a mis-match of braking types between the loco and the stock you're trying to couple to. Try checking the brake types in Route-Riter. If this does turn out to be the answer, I'd recommend changing incompatible stock items rather than changing the brake types, because I understand doing this can cause other problems.
