Cambrian 2 - 3DTS

Post by Iluka »

Hi all

Has anyone received the Cambrain 2 Route yet from 3DTS?

I ordered mine on 28 July 07 with the UK Swange Bonus Pack and this morning I received the Swanage Bonus Pack so hopefully tomorrow I should receive Cambrian 2

Really looking forward to this so I can give the Dukedogs a run from Shrewsbury.

Regards

Mike

Ordered and paid for on the day of release. I've been waiting for the postman since. Should be worth the wait though.

On a thread somewhere I think it mentioned that it was being sorted out over the weekend with (hopefully/presumably) being sent out early this week. Personally, if I receive it before next weekend I will be pleasantly surprised. If something's worth having then it's worth waiting for.

Mine's not arrived either, though the transaction for £24.87 went through on my credit card on 31st July! If not here by the end of the week I shall be quizzical and feeling somewhat differently (euphemism) if not here by the end of the following week.

Just to say don't forget mail from the US can take up to 7-9 working days to get here, and also there are still more mail strikes in the pipe line, the next one is due on Friday this week.

According to a friend of mine who works in a sorting office says there is still mail posted in the middle of July waiting delivery.

Hi All

Well reading Michael's posting it looks like I will get my Cambrian 2 before anyone in the UK :o

I got my Swanage Bonus Pack (ordered the same day) within 10days of ordering so hopefully Cambrian 2 can't be too far away.

Looking at the 3DTS map this is going to be a "Classic" route and well worth the money.

Regards

This was posted on the 2nd of August about the Cambrian 2 Route

Update:
The final tests on the route threw up a few issues that needed attention (more a matter of perfectionism rather than errors), but all of these have now been dealt with. Brad in the US has all of the files and will be making the installer today or tomorrow. If all goes to plan, the CDs will be popping off the production line at the weekend and in the post at the beginning of next week. Post takes about a week to/from the US.

Apparently I caused a problem with the installer by making the route too big. There's no pleasing some people! I understand that the problem has now been fixed, so hopefully no more delays. I'll see what I can find out.

Hi All

Firstly Martin thanks for your update on the progress at 3DTS - don't worry about your Route being too big as looking at the map on the 3DTS site it looks to be a magnificent Route - I will be very patient and wait until everything is perfect - none of us want installation problems when we receive our CD's.

Well Michael we have absolutely no problems "Down Under" with our postal service but that's probably because it never got "Privatised"

It looks like Cambrian2 will be running in Western Australia before the UK :o
