Extending the mainline would be very popular I'm sure Reg. I think one of the reasons why it attracts more attention than perhaps you expected is that this part of the mainline as depicted on the Paddington to Penzance route is nowhere near as detailed in scenery as your route. And there's a lot of people that like to run those lovely GWR models on their native metals....

I've posted quite a few screenshots on the main line - the viaducts over the branch allow plenty of interesting viewpoints:

An extended version would go down very well - onwards to Bodmin Road perhaps?
