Try using the "Search" facility for "Building Tunnels", or use this:-
Or in a nutshell....
In RE
"F9"

Position cursor

"V" key
To make it easier to select the polygons then use the"W" key.

And have you tried using the search facility...? You will find what you need to know!
Use 'tunnel' track sections
Use a tunnel entrance
Use transfers to haide any remaining white gaps.
