how do i build tunnels in a route without terrain in it

how do i build tunnels in a route without terrain in the tunnel,
i have seen tunnels in other routes with a white part in the terrain- how do i do that

Try using the "Search" facility for "Building Tunnels", or use this:-

i'v downloaded that, and have tryed doing the polygon thing, still goes wrong, i gte alot of white around the tunnel entrance and i cant use the pencil becuase it says it cant use pencil on compressed texture files, i dont know how to overcome that, i dont know how to uncompress them

Yes, but have you read the tutorial .txt file?
And have you tried using the search facility...? You will find what you need to know!

Use 'tunnel' track sections
Use a tunnel entrance
Use transfers to haide any remaining white gaps.

In the drop down menu within Object Selector.

wat does the pencil tool actually do? nearly all the textures are compressed anyway!
