If I were you I'd use Scottrax V1, it's the best for steam era routes. This looks absolutely excellent, nice change from the exciting yet samey express steam locomotives flying down the main line on MSTS! I rarely use small locos (do I actually have any...) but this looks to be one of the best routes I have ever seen. It really is something you don't see anymore, reminds me of the old Irwell Street works in Salford, now a dual carriage way! I remember seeing a video of steam in the north west (including Irwell Street) and it had an ex-LYR 'Pug' shunting wagons around the yard, with buildings just like those, but it also crossed over a street via a level crossing, as in the works had two sites, both either side of a road. I think this would make a good addition, with gates blocking entrance to the works. Irwell street also had a gradient heading up to the main line which was on a viaduct, don't wanna appear pushy but maybe include a main line for activity purposes, like your job is to shunt around the works while expresses fly past! It's looking absolutely excellent and this is a must for me.

At the end of the line away from the main works are some reception sidings where it meets the mainline. So yes it is possible to see trains flying past!

It isnt very long at all as a route. But I want it to be detailed.

From your screenshots it looks really big, like there's loads of places to explrore, but either way it has one of the best atmospheres I have ever seen in a route. Good news about the mainline!

There are some good GWR yard items (including coal piles) over at the Highworth site.

People and lorries next I think.

Out of interest? How much interest is there in industrials for MSTS. I really would like to turn this into a donationware pack with some locos and stock etc, but I dont know if there is the interest.

I think you've done a fantastic job. I'm 13 and my parents don't see MSTS as a worthwhile hobby, so I'd never actually be able to buy it, but if I could, I'd definately be interested.

The route is looking great Andy. I'd buy it if it gets released as donationware.

I've downloaded nearly every industrial loco available for MSTS, so I'm certainly interested. :D

Idea route for my decrepid old internal user wagons.

They were made for the dockyard on the Gowin to Knowear route.

May be a bit small to use as donationware, you could always build the Middleton Railway for a donationware pack! But it's up to you after all, and I'll get it anyway, it looks fantastic!

It looks brilliant!

I would be interested, providing I could actually get a copy should it be donationware - it just looks great :D

Yep, a little work has gone on behind the scenes recently. I think I now have all the permissions I need.

When released there will be three routes I hope.

I want to resignal my branchline route, but im not any good at this so im hoping someone may help me out with that.

Decapod has kindly given me permission to use his SECR stock. I may do some reskins so they are different numbers etc.

I have a few reskined industrials around for use. Just wish I had another couple of custom locos, maybe another SECR loco and an industrial.

Hopefully I will get round to some activites soon, I have had an offer of help on that front.

I can help with signalling if needed, also, is it going to be donationware for the MR still?
