I'm not sure, I'm going to be at York. It's not Duke of Gloucster doing it any more, according to uksteam it's now 6201.

From how I understand it, the steam will be removed at Carlisle and it will run Diesel via the tyne valley back via the ECML stopping where it picked up.

I'm going to York on the Compass Tour from Carlisle on Saturday, so I might pass this at some point. Might see some of you out and about...

I don't know the full ones - I've just checked the ticket and it says we're off York at 16:13, if that's any help. If I find out more I'll let you know.

Times for the Compass Tour:

http://www.railtourinfo.co.uk/160607c.htm

47847 + 848 with a mix of Anglia, Virgin and Intercity Mk2s. I think I should be in the front carriage on the Tyne Valley section...

Pic at http://www.burgess57.freeserve.co.uk/latest.htm , third one down.

EDIT: Just noticed the page says Cambrian Coast Express for some reason. The times are definately the right ones though.
