Dark night Passenger views

Post by rosssweet »

Can anyone explain, why in some passenger views they are dark at night.
While others remain light.

I guess it is because some Passenger views have a night view as well, I dont know how to make them all unless you make all the passenger views the same!

Lit passenger views are those that have their materials set to bright and/or half-bright types.

Do you mean inside the carriage, which should be light...most carriages are lit after all(?), or outside the window?

I know that sounds daft but I'm trying to understand the problem.

Can you post screenshots of examples?

Hi Mark,

Where are the settings for bright/half bright ? in the .s or .sd files ?

Thanks for your replies.

Haven't worked out how to insert a graphic into this section yet.

Hi Ross
You'll need Shape File Manager to manipulate the S file

Section 3 Textures.

Thanks once again Jon, wow, looked at Shape file manager and think I don't need to go there :-?
Had a look in Archibald, which I use a lot to get Common.Pv created, to make it easy to add a passenger view to any consist,
but couldn't get a result to textures there. anyway move on, so much, really good stuff downloaded to work on, including uploads from you.
