Fantasy default routes

Post by NickG »

I know there has been much discussion over the 6 default routes with msts, and if people still use them, but imagine if you could only have 6 routes installed on MSTS, if you could chouse any 6 routes to come as the default routes what would you choose?
Heres my choice :-

German railroads 1
Protrain 2
Protrain 7
Protrain 10
London south east
Great Eastern

Might have to change one of these when scottish capitals express comes out

Hi All,
How about.

BALA HUB V4
SOUTH TYNE & SMJ Counts as one
YORKSHIRE COAST
BURTON DERBY 1950s
SKIPTON TO CARSLILE 1920
CAMBRIAN ROUTE

Only one commercial route?

Keep it British Steam.

GOOD LUCK

Indeed, I use Great Eastern to test drive new consists from just North of Ipswich to the station itself, which gives me lots of time to built up speed, do any shunting in the yard etc...

Great product, it would be nice if they released the Norwich area as part 2 so you could drive from London Liverpool Street to Great Yarmouth, :D

I know there's a slim to none chance of it ever happening but as JR says in the WWE, "Never say Never"

I'd have the following with good reasons for choosing them;

Settle Carlisle 1920 as a pre-grouping main line

Bala Hub- provides both LMS and GWR settings
Yorkshire Coast- for the LNER
Steyning for the Southern

SVR as a preserved line

Great eastern as a British more modern era main line.
