It was a brilliant day, spoilt by Network Rail and the fact one of the home fleet locos failed

a bit??! wasn't as bad as Birch Groves Cylinder!!! I have a picture nearly exactly the same as the one of jinty under the bridge. I'll put a few of mine up in a mo. Should realy edit them... lets see what I can do with MS photo editor. Don't think they are as good as yours though!

Ps I dunno if they got rid of the last service of the day as I left on the next train after you George but they managed to pick up sometime. Only 15 mins late when I left.

I quite like that b/w birch grove under the bridge one (2nd last in first post)

Think you might have gone overboard with the photoshop though :/

i might be lucky in getting up to spa valley again next weekend. birch grove is possibly being renumbered as a 75F loco
