A good VA

These guys run a good little VA "Venture Hawaii" - advertising as a virtual airline for those with a short attention span (like me).

Most of the flights take less than an hour and most of the aircraft are classic brit designs. I guess the drawback is that because the flights are fairly short, there's not a lot of time to look out the window!

The rule is that you need to make 20 flights in Hawaii using dH Dove, Short Skyvan and HS748 aircraft - thewn you are type qualified on the rest of the fleet and can fly routes in South America, Alaska, Australia and other places.

The guys are really helpful and friendly - why not give them a try?

Cheers,

May be worth a look. There's a similar one called FS Flight Club but for me the drawback was that you had to make most of the flights in their freeware aircraft rather than my expensively acquired PMDG and LDS payware planes.

I also tried a couple of the "biggies" - United Virtual and BA Virtual. The former was, frankly, a bit ahem constipated with their check flight system and other restrictions. The latter was better but suffered some major server outage time (I think they were out of action for about two months) last year which kind of killed it for me. However BAV did include quite a few short flights and rookie pilots could fly the big iron as well as buzzsaw props. Might rejoin in the future although the other issue is that I don't think their ACARS software has been updated for FSX. Oh and I lost all my Vatsim details when I rebuilt my PC recently!
