im also going for some southern locos. what are the best small ones??

i was going to go for a M7 as that would nicely fit on my layout...
Can someone provided a site or information on all shed codes and where the sheds are??

Right George, some more to addd to the list, seeing as I know the fairburns on your hitlist and that was based at tunbridge wells, you could also get the 6 wheeled King arthur, the tender was specific to the central reigon and i'll find out where it was based

I may have to rethink that, from my information sources, it seems to have been based predominantly at ashford

at the moment i have nothing to report on my layout. i hav a working mainline still, its just the boards that im waiting for, i must order them soon.
going back to the DCC changeover im planning, can you convert a loco to DCC running even if it isnt DCC ready
i heard somewhere that you have to solder the decoder to the main chassis of the loco?

well as you might of seen if you have looked at the engine-line-up post i am selling some of my locos and stock. a full list will be published soon of course with pics of the items involved.
in the meantime, i have a list of the new coaching stock i shall be aquiring

George, mate, do you really need the Mk1's as i've got most of the ones you've mentioned, when you need 'em you know i'll help. Why two crimson and cream consists by the way and why two maroon GUV's?
