C2 rejuvenated.

Post by CaptainBazza »

I revisited the engine shed this evening and finished the rest of the motion......here's the result running on the Ffestiniog.

The trackside 4 view is a bit dodgy when you're too close, but you shouldn't be that close, anyway!

I like being that close. D:

That's one big problem I don't like and why I always try to have less than 10000 polys on my locos and add all fittings and detail with freightanim. But with bazzamotion I can understand that's not possible.

You can download and view a 14.82 mb rendered video clip (AVI) of the C2 here:

Set media player to 'loop' and watch it at 'full screen'. :o

Dust up

Post by CaptainBazza »

Did I say 'rust'? I meant dust! To my eye this looks more realistic - dust in the eye of the beholder? :x

It is only in beta, some tweaking required before rerelease.

They're looking excellent bazza! The dusty version of the second looks better, I agree. Though I still prefer rusty #4!

Cheers

Hi Baz. I've followed your progress on No.4, from your first posts, with great interest and admiration. I wish I could do it.
I hope I didn't appear impatient it was just that I thought I'd missed it's release when you showed us "Dusty"

Looks like you've done a superb job of modelling and texturing, Bazza.

(Though, I have to confess that the prototype doesn't do a lot for me!)

cheers,
