Renaming of route directory & files

Post by sreeju444 »

I wish to rename the directory of my route. For example, if the directory name is "England", some files in this directory have the same name (England.ref, England.mkr, England.trk etc...). Is there any utility for changing all of them in a single step? In other way, which files inside the route directory needed to rename the route?

regards,

Hi
I think Route Riter can do this.
Cheers

Hi,

As Jon says, Route_Riter can do that. On the MSTS File Utils tab, the first button is 'Duplicate route with new name'

Just select your route and click the above button. You are asked for the new folder name and then the new route name, after which a new version of the route is created with the new names given to all appropriate files.

Once you are happy this works OK, you can delete the original route.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
