Skipton to Carlisle 1920 Download

Post by dforrest »

I see that the download version is available. Well done Pat.

Could someone please summarise the differences (both route and stock) between this and the CD version.

There's no difference!

I think it is being made available here as the CD is no longer available.

I stand corrected if I'm wrong.

No difference at all, Pat sent us the latest version of the disk but as far as I am aware the differences are in the readme/docs etc. The route and stock are identical.

Great stuff I always had problems with the original disc and could never install it.
I will download this now with my new subscription :)
Read me describes it well for installation which is good.
Thanks Pat.

Pat has also granted permission to upload the LMSR CD as well, which will follow as we get time :)

Just down loaded Skipton Carlisle, what a breeze, one the easiest installs I've had for a long while and activities as well brilliant.

Now I'm told there is the LMSR CD download to come as well, is there no end.

Thanks Pat, been reading about this for such along while (missed it on the original CD).

Just had to add my bit, now off to give it a run.

Hi All

This is a magnificent contribution from Pat.

I have all three of Pat's CD's:-

Skipton to Carlisle 1920

The Midland Railway Settle & Carlisle Route

LMSR Rolling Stock

For anyone that doesn't possess Pat's CD's I strongly recommend you download and install from UKTS as they are Absolutely Brilliant.

I can see some new Activities coming along soon using the extremely good Rolling Stock included with Skipton to Carlisle 1920 and the LMSR Rolling Stock to which Matt refers(yet to be available for Download).

Once more Pat thanks for your very generous contribution and once more thanks for getting me "addicted to MSTS" in the early days - you were a great personal help to me.

Kindest Regards

Mike

No :( Because of the copyright problems a few years back it will not appear on CD again :( Pat's very, very generous offer of allowing it to be made available for upload is now the only way you can obtain the route.

Thanks Pat :)

I would really like to thank Pat for allowing this route to be down loaded, and also Matt and crew for making it so easy to unpackage, even I managed to unpack it which for me is a miracle.

I've been trying to down load some stock for the new Italian Route which goes from Venizia, and even following the links for stock I'm still getting missing stock messages.

Think I will stick to UKTS in future.

When the permissions to include most of the private owners wagons were withdrawn, I built replacements.

I will upload these over the next few days.

Here's an example.

Skipton Download loading problem

Have downloaded and extracted all files correctly. The route appears in the Route folder but does not appear in the list of available routes in MSTS. Can anyone help.

All the globals gone in ok? That sounds like an xtracks / tsection issue.
