almost got run over :S

Post by Warrior2691 »

hi,
just before taking thsi photo i almost got run over by the train, ok, maybe a slight exageration there, I was cmoing down the hill on my bike rather fast and just as i was about to cross the level crossing it started beeping and flashing. To put it nicely, I kacked myself and slammed on the brakes. just managed to get my camera out in time to take a pic of it. The other pics are taken froma bridge over the same line, can anyone guess the line???

Does anyone know what the little boxes are that seem to have started appearing on the front of Thames Turbo's in the past few weeks? (as shown in pics above, blue box). They're not just limited to the ones receiving new vinyls so it must be an unrelated upgrade.

I've had a look at one from the platform edge but have no idea.
