Yes please, and if anyone has drawings for any of the older wcml loco's 81 82 83 those would be nice too- going to have a go at doing a loco but won't be releasing it, just for kicks really since I know John D is making these.

Er, I'm not sure how my initial plea for a humble EMU got onto 81-83s, but if this thread has achieved nothing else it has encouraged Tim to have a go at what looks like a very, very juicy Trans-Pennine unit. People like me who can't build a wall, let alone an entire main line owe a lot to people who upload the fruits of their labours for no reward. Thanks Tim!
Meanwhile back at the EMUs, have a look at http://www.therailwaycentre.com/Pages%2 ... U_504.html for what I had in mind. Sorry for the hyperlink, I asked the relevant webmaster for permission to link directly to the pic but I have had no reply.
If anyone can be persuaded to have a go at something like this, the 504s (for example) saw green, blue, blue/grey and orange/brown variants even before you think about no yellow, full yellow, full yellow including cab side etc etc (yawn) that's enough yellow. Ed

RE: hyperlink above - don't bother, the webmaster at http://www.therailwaycentre.com (which I commend highly as a source of reference info) has now kindly allowed me to provide a direct link:

Pretty cool pic, huh?
