Hi all, Ive just installed MSTS into vista 32bit fine, ran it, fine, cant update because it "cant create output file ..... launcher.exe
Done all the administrator things. SECOND question,, when I try to run it anyway , without the update, it wants me to put the cd in the drive, my other installation never wanted that, advice please.

There might be some answers in those threads.
As for the requiring the CD - search the forums for the no CD fix. You just need to install the correct patch and it no longer needs the CD.

Windows Vista and Update
All OK now many thanks, update loaded, but only if I moved launcher.exe to a spare folder so the update could put the new one in. Update sorts out the No CD problem too. Just put LSE on full scenery = 15fps on a Dell Centrino Laptop. Settle line is up in the 58's ! ! Great. Bit jerky, but I guess thats the HD. thanks again.
