Verify Starting State

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Verify Starting State

I am new to this forum. I searched for my problem but didn't find it. Every now and then when something bad happens while working in the activity editor I lose my "caterpillars", those little circles that show where your trains are when you do a verify starting state. It also stops showing where you place consists. When this happened in the past I reloaded EVERYTHING and that solved the problem, but it takes hours! Is there any way to reinstate the view of the "caterpillars"?

this is due to a corruption of the hwrenderer keys in your windows registry. Its pretty easy to fix using regedit. Do a search here for hwrenderer and you will find lots of threads as this problem comes up several times a week. One will have detailed instructions on what to do :)

Thank you very much. It worked and saved me a lot of time. This community if train simmers is amazing in its generous sharing of time and knowledge.
