station stop times

Is there some way of altering station stop times in the Editors and Tools file when creating an activity, all it seems to give me is a couple of seconds which in reality wouldn't be enough time to open the carriage doors let alone load and unload supposed passengers

Yes right click on the station platform marker...then properties.
Alternatively you can set this permanently in the RE.
