Hi,
This has probably been asked before but is their any way buildings and tunnels can be set up to stop steam from the lcos going through them particularly bridges.

Use proper locos that are not on fire

Laying a road section over the bridge will make it "solid" to smoke.

...for a given value of "solid"...

i.e. over about 8m above track level. Don't expect low roofs or bridges to be completely smoke tight, though, as it'll come through and then return back down.

it also helps to reduce smoke if you make roofs "terrain objects"
