New website update!

The Rail Simulator forum was very busy leading up to the UK release on October 12th 2007, this is a read-only copy of those discussions for historic and review purposes.

Very nice Sabrina
But like the HST cab, its too clean.
Most cabs after a few months use, are just plain dirty.

Sabrina

Just how many of the buttons, switches, knobs, and lights will be functional in KRS?

Regards

Probably the best cab ive seen in any trainsim, full credits to the 3d artists.
Although ive never seen the inside of a deltic cab,im sure this will be as close representation as you can get.If this doesnt please the rivet counters out there then nothing will. :)

One thing i have noticed is the shadow detail, are these rendered in realtime? or static?,my bet would be realtime soft shadows.

Thanks for the update Sabrina

I knew there was something wrong with that cab - no rivets at all! I mean, what would I count if it does not have rivets?
For the sake of political correctness, i.e., to care for the often suppressed minority of rivet counters, I demand that BR use some rivets somewhere in this cab!

From the website: "We are pleased to present to you the second cab renders from Rail Simulator"

Question answered I think, these are renders not in-game shots so how it deals with the shadows is not really possible to tell.
