MVR in the snow

Post by MuzTrem »

One of the great things about garden railways is that you have to operate in real weather conditions! I had the day off school today due to "adverse weather", which meant that I finally got the chance to run my railway in the snow...

I note you were putting the WLR's latest creation through its paces!

I did not bother with ours today - we almost steamed the 7.25" but decided against it - 5.5" of snow in our garden! Last time I ran in the snow was 2002 I think.

Very nice! Wish I was at home, I havnt been able to run my SM32 for months while im at uni. Both Edrig and Caradoc are feeling left out :-(

Nearest I will be to home for a while is Amersham show, maybe I will go home after the event for a day for a run.
