Bug in MSTS Exporter for v7.0??

Post by dkightley »

Can someone try a test in v7.0???

Create a simple cube and export to MSTS. A .s and .sd file will be created as normal.

Now add a chamfer to one of the edges...and then re-export. Is the .s file updated? Mine isn't.

Optimising the object seems to sort the problem out...

I'd like someone to confirm this before I report it to Amabilis.

This is the Train sim wizard plugin, and not the right click S file export?
Unfortunately I can't test here at work.

Has anybody got Canvas v7.0 with the MSTS exporter??

If so, any chance of testing this export. I need to know if this is my installation...or a bug Amabilis ought to be told about.

Doug - you are correct.

Using the wizard exporting scenery, the second export did not update the S file

Now have v7.0, and - nothing to with the MSTS exporter, but when using UV remap, the right hand window has an absurdly small axis icon, making it impossible to zoom in.

Am I missing something?

Thanks Paul. I'll report it to Richard when I can log into the forum.

I've had similar problems with the size of the axis icon...but with it being abnomally large.

I find clicking on one of the scene movement icons makes the axis icon revert to normal size. Probably another bug to report at the same time.

I've seen the same thing with the axis icons. As above, if I click on the movement icons the axis icon returns to normal. This doesn't work on the UV remap screen. The icons work but it is very fiddly to use. And I could do without the large axis icon on the perspective view altogether. I never need it and I wonder why it even exists?
