Richard has just released a plugin for 3DC 7 that imports DST files to 3DC.
Info and download from Announcements forum:
http://amabilis.com/6/ubb.x
Geometry only at the moment so you need to re-texture.
This now opens up TSM models for export to TRS2004/2006 and for KRS in the future.

Won't import, just flags an error message (no details) and contact support at amabilis.com, which I will do.

Before contacting support, I decided to redownload the archive and all is working now.
Initial thoughts are that where one is the original builder, of say a signal array, and has the various individual components, then loading those components in 3DC, retexturing each and then assembling should pose no problem, but for completely assembled objects such as Edmund Kinder's BR/LMS Semaphores, then they would have to be broken down, I do have his .dst files but only for the complete items.
