In general I like the First "barbie" livery. But Im not too keen on those 66's.

I think it would look alot better if the GBRf logo and numbering was still in Orange. I really dont like the Pink and White strip at the front either.

They've certainly missed a trick by not putting their logo in place of the 'f', what with Firstf Transpennine expressf (which I'm using on a daily basis now  )

it had been mentioned...
but what with gBRf beign in its own right an indivdual company and with a existing client base they didn t want to alienate them by a change of name or logo so to spean and replacing the f with an f may have done that...

sayign that the reason the 66's didnt get a version of barbie years ago was due to certain leagal clauses to do with company names and brands following a sale.. so after GB Railways was bought by first group.. FG couldnt do anything like change names or logo's for atleast 2 years IIRC...

So im told the livery has only come about for one simple reason. It was due to be an advertising livery such as the Meditie one but that didnt come to fruition so the easiest way to solve the problem was to apply the current liv which looks to be only 4 vynls on the cabs (one on each side of the cab, on both No:1 & No:2 ends).
