Electric Loco's a no no?

Post by TylerDurden »

I noticed the quality and amount of Electric loco's is alot less than their Diesel brothers. I just wondered if its because they're unpopular or because you cant run them on all the routes? :-? . I'm considering making a Class 91, but it would be good to see some high quality Electric loco's to play with :).
Arriva aren't that bad, are they?

Going North has a 91 Planned, There is a high quaility 87 on the way.

These both will imrpove the standard of electric stuff :-)

But please go ahead and do some other electric stuff, Perhaps a 92? 90?

We already have a few 71's....but we're in need of Class 81 - 85
we have NONE of these and we need some 86's in various liveries (especially blue).

A 92 would'nt go a miss either.

Well thats given the game away! I actually suggested it when Paul told me he was planning on making the 60 - I pointed out that there would be very little conversion work needed - but it is a good job Andy got involved as well as 92's are too new for Pauls taste! :)

That wouldn't happen to be mine, would it :).

I will go through the file library now and list a few of the later ac electrics we do need. I will also list the ones that might need an update.

What we need.

Class 70s, especially the class76. The 71s and 73's in the file library are good but could do with a nice new look.

Class81, 82, 83, 84, 85 and 86. The 87 is being done by me, the 89 is also being done by me.

We need a class90, we have 1 91 from james hunt with 2 on the way - 1 by goingnorth and 1 by steelixb.

A 92 needs doing.

We also need a le shuttle, one is in the works.

What I will be doing, class89, class41, might do an apt-p and/or an apt-e. I won't be doing the apt-p/apt-e for quite some months as I have another personal progect that I would like to do.

What ever happened to a class88?
