My board of directors asked for an authentic 4472 trip, so here is the result. The Scotsman put on a spectacular show as she powered a recreation of the Flying Scotsman from Settle Junction to Carlisle.

On the Lydbrook Branch, the daily local can hardly be called a crack express, but driver Earl Grey, his mother liked the tea, is no less serious about getting his train over the road. Here is a shot I grabbed as he accelerated the 4302 over a bridge, the sound was fantastic!

With whistle held down the train steams through a junction. A pure moment of bliss for fans of teakettles everywhere.

Hope you enjoyed the shots!
