60081? ive heard its been used as a christmas tree and is nearly a shell. if this is true i dont see it working again.

has anyone got any fresh news on the green locomotive?

Stored outside at Toton with a piston through the crankcase and engine room door.

Dont you mean the pston shot through the Crankcase and the engine room door and managed to recover it a few feet from the railway line somewhere between Penmeanmwr and Shotton (cant remember the exact location.)

Makes you glad the Skin of 55002 is tougher than that of a 60.

60081 is a christmas tree. But i did hear off some EWS blokes that given 12months it'll be back out.
