I think we are going to need a class 40 shed at some point going off what is happening here ;).

I think you will need a shed Mark's got a few more and I'll
be uploading 40141 (split box - spots facing inwards to give it
that boss eyed look) and possibly 40149 (centre box spots slightly
closer).

SteveS :)

PS - A big thanx to Mark for his permission in letting me "boost the fleet"
just love those 40's!

'ello all,

Once again, nice to see more 40's.
On the subject any chance of doing 40127 (split box and headcode discs on the gangway doors), or 40111 (welded up front) or 40131 (split box with disc type marker lights in gangway doors....................................................(you can never have enough 40's).
Thanks again SteveS
Cheers

40127's white dots in the headcode box were distinctly crosseyed as well

there's also 40069 with its exposed pipework and cutaway lower bodyside

I'll certainly have a go, These are only little mods/reumberings etc (as I'm only an amateur) I'll check with Mark Shipman as their his models
to see if it's ok to modify - I've got 40141 (Spot's facing inward) to go on
at some point today.

Then It's back to Crewe works for a look at what's next.
Mk2 coaches with white end doors/no IC logo.

40069 is a different kettle of fish I think that is mod that has to be done
via TSM - might be worth asking Mark 'bout that.

No kidding - but at least I can help people out, after all I'm always on the
"wants" and as I've got Marks permisson should be OK. I will check each
modification with him though.

You need to download the new set of Class 40 sounds and set it up
as a common.sound.

If you'd rather use the older sounds open up the .eng files in say 40022
look at the line (" gp38eng.sms ") and do the same for say 40162
which uses the newer one and just copy and paste into the relavent file.
Do this further down the file ("gp38cab.sms") and................

DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL FILE B4 DOING THIS.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks Andy

I also managed to find a picture of 40069 while it was being broken up, so its on the to-do list, along with 40127 with the disc type gangway doors.

Some progress shots of 40069 with its cut away lower body sides, and a comparison with the real thing, I just need to add some more dirt and those handles on top of the nose, should be released later this week.
