Time table problem

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Time table problem

Post by sreeju444 »

I created a single line new route with 16 stations including loop lines in all stations for crossing. But the problem is that when creating a new path, i put "Begin Passing path" in all stations. The activity is working fine.. but I cant make Time table for my service. When recalculating the timetable, some errors are coming.. How can recover that error?

First of all the Passing Path feature doesnt work in MSTS. It was never implemented. To make trains pass in loops on single lines you will either have to get timings dead right, or resort to some tricky to fool MSTS. Things like double reverse points and multiple wait points can help but take a fair bit of practise to get right.

Never use the automatic timetable calculator. Work out your own times by doing a test run with no AI traffic and then enter the times manually into the timetable. Remember the first time you enter is the departure time, click again and enter the time a second time gives you the arrival time.

There are lots of threads on all these aspects so i'd rcommend doing some searches on the forum and spending a couple of hours reading :)
