TGV/High Speed routes

Post by ntanswell »

Hi all,

I have recently downloaded purely out of curiosity, LGVMED off the main UKTS download page. After running it a few times, i have relly enjoyed the speed and the scenery, and i am wondering if there are any others avalible, of a good standard, either freeware or payware, Also, could you help me with sourcing a Speedworks TGV pack, as the site given in the LGVMED readme appears to not exist.

Many thanks

You can also download LGVA (LGV Atlantique) from this site. I'm not aware of any other TGV routes available for download.

The Speedworks project was closed down some time ago and the pack disappeared from circulation. The project was handed over to Edouard Staniczek, whose website will give you some info about what to expect in future http://staned.club.fr/projetsesk/mes.html

Thanks for the info, any ideas where i can find additional activities for the LGV-A and LGVMED routes, especially for the LGV-A, as the activities included don't seem to have any AI traffic.

Just found this in the Simtrain forum. Not able to try this myself at the moment as I'm away from home. Looks too good to be true!!

Any Alternative TGVs that can be used?

Just recently having got back into train sim, I downloaded LGVMed. Its an excellent route from what little time I have had to drive it in the TGV Duplex in the explore route mode.

Now, are there any alternatives for the TGV Reseau/Thalys that can be used on this route? I would like to make full use of the activites in the route, but need the 2 above mentioned trains and AI counterparts.

Its a shame the speedworks TGV pack went out of circulation, hopefully one will come up somewhere soon.

I'm afraid I think it is...

I quote, from a couple of posts under the screen-shot I assume you were referring to -

"Ce n'est qu'un screen...
C'est la premiere fois que je me sers de photoshop" - I think that means, basically it has been photoshoped
