Those fields look stunning. That's actually something I've been working on for my own route, so If works out please don't think I've nicked the idea from here lol :D

Hi Coxster

GWR Toddington is a close representation of the present Gloucester Warwickshire Steam Railway, except for an addition of some sidings through Hunting Butts tunnel for Activities.

It will be up-loaded very soon as a Mini Route complete with it reskined Locomotives and Rolling Stock with some Activities.

Good to see you here, Frank !

Been trying to show them your GWR Web site but can't find the link. Must have lost it after transferring data to my new computer.

Have you still got it ?

Take care, O t t o.

P.S.: Mike's got another bout of the Flu, so Westonbirt will have to wait ! :-(

This route sounds good. I've always liked the preserved ones since I got SVR. :D And yes, that grass looks brill.

Frank Carver has sent me the URL of his GWR-Toddington UK web site:
http://members.westnet.com.au/dfc382/

Much of the scenery has been further improved since it has been updated last ! ;-)

Enjoy !

Nice Frank, but just one thing...

In:

Click

You have a 35mph limit, on a preserved Railway the limit is 25mph (Unless you have special sanctions...) under normal operation. Otherwise very good.

It's a simulator, you can take liberties...

and 25mph is so boring when the loco can do 80 quite happily...

On the other hand, if you drive that slow on a short route like this, which has so much to look at all along the way, then you have more time to see it all ! :D

Hi

I was asked to upper my speed limit for the Activities, but since that web page was uploaded I have now lowered the Max speed to 30mph only five above now.

As Otto said, they scenery is so fabulous that one can be forgiven to over speeding or even going to slow.

Why not set the speed for the pre-preservation era and the lineside boards to 25mph?

Or even have a bat file to have both.

Looks excellent, not sure about the King George model though, looks nothing like the prototype apart from being a saddle tank. Route looks stunning though!
