Greater GCR anyone?

Post by galvanize »

Myself and JCogman were discussing on MSN about making a route called the greater GCR. This is to incorperate both the GCR(N) and GCR (Loughborough), set in the present day. Problem is, I've never built an MSTS route before.

So i reckon, that if we get a number of people to be involved in the project, this route will look fantastic.

If enough people are interested, I'll be team leader and consist creater.

Rolling stock will be both the current stock from both GCRs, both lines will be linked, to allow some more milage to be had, while driving.

So anyone interested?

Might be worth talking to the MRTS people. See here http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?t=46332

I'm not wanting to dampen your enthusiasm, but I would like to point out that there have been a few threads started in the same way as this one..."I've an idea for a route...I need someone to build it for me."

Do be prepared to be disapointed by a lack of enthusiasm on the part of others...... I hope I'm wrong, but you may not get very far with your idea.

If you're really interested in route building, then why not give it a go yourself. Start with a small idea, though...don't try to too ambitious

To be quite honest, that's well said. I admit I was a bit too ambitious, but hey, maybe I will give it a go.
