Scottish Central

Post by desiro5 »

I was wondering about purchasing this route on CD.

I was woundering how many activites there are on there, how good the overall route is and the amount and quality of stock included on it.

Hope these can be answered.

Cheers

It's a very good route. I got it a while back. It has 15+ activities, and the quality and of the rolling stock is very good (and you get lots of it :) ). Not all of the route has scenery, but the bits that do (Edinburgh - Inverkeithing) are fantastic. I recommend that you get this route :)

Cheers for that Tom and JR.

Sounds A very good route. Now let me ask this question at the moment apart from price wise which is the better buy: This or London south east?

sorry it's going abit off topic.

I am impressed with the Spring Shots of the BR Blue HST and I am thinking about purchasing this route on CD after I arrive back from holiday. Does anyone know which activities are provided with the CD?

I mean the CD version. It may have less than 15 activites. I haven't used the route in while, as it is currently not installed on my PC. If I'm wrong, then sorry for the false info !

You could get both! The Scottish Central CD only costs £4.50 (a bargain! :D ). LSE is a very good route as well. Making Tracks are bringing out LSE II very soon!

No. MT have decided to call their Great Eastern (London-Ipswich) route London South East II (I can't figure out why :) ). South London Commuter will be released with TMTS, but not for a while. (although they have said that they may convert LSE: II into TMTS)

sorry to be picky but this is direct from the MT website
Following our entry into the MSTS commercial marketplace with the runaway success of London & SouthEast, Making Tracks are happy to announce the follow up route to LSE will be called 'Great Eastern'

I just had a look on MT's website, and you are right. I can't find a reference to the name LSE: II  . However, they have sometimes referred to it as LSE: II on their forums.
But the name doesn't matter, all that matters is that they said it will be released soon, and it looks brilliant :D .
Apologies for any misleading information I may have posted.
