NEW FGW HST125 Livery
As you may or may not know First Greater(as they now want to be called) Western are using a new experiemenatal livery.
earlier today a 125 went down the line behind my house (nothing unusuall there)
but it was one of the experimental livery trains
consisting of 2 power units and 1 type of each coach
the livery itself is purple with white and pink siwrls - it was unbranded.

Hi
"The new livery revealed today is radically different to its predecessor – demonstrating a contemporary style that evokes a fast, dynamic train. The HST’s basic colours haven’t changed however – First Great Western have kept the pinks and blues that mark their branding."

That "primary school project" livery is indeed hideous. I do hope they didn't pay anyone (with either tax- or fare-payers money) to come up with it. The nasty colours don't help...
Not all new liveries are hideous. SWT white is good, LUL's red/white/blue is attractive enough, and I quite like GNER and 'one' too. SPT is another good one. LastGroup are market leaders in ghastly liveries.
