Croydon Trams

Post by viperskil »

Just wondering if any of you are frequent tramlink users like me and have noticed the new dot Matrix display tram and I would like your views on it.

1. I like the boards a lot brighter at night (evne though i caught it on its way to New Addington yesterday at 15.05 by fluke), it doesn't have the essential via parts beneath it.

2. Audio recordings. absolute . the man speaking first sounds so slow and isn't very loud but the woman after sounds pretty decent announcing the change fors.

3. scrolling internal display. Very nice no problems

Also do any of you think that this has anything to do with the New Addington-Wimbledon and Elmers End-Beckenham Junction service changes??

Probably Tramlinks way of meeting the RVAR requirements regarding PIS.

Dan
