Eastcoast Express and Route Riter

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Eastcoast Express and Route Riter

Post by DarrenCarter »

Hi Everybody
Have just purchased Eastcoast Express and would like to add more detail around the Drayton Park and Bowes Park area. I tried the make .REF file command in the latest version of Route Riter but still get a 'Train World Initialization Failed' when i load it into the Route Editor. Any ideas anybody.

Train World Initialization Failed occurs when the program can not find the Environment files required to run the route.

Suggest that in this route, the authors have not included the file editor.env in the Envfiles folder.

Just make a copy of the Sun.env file in the Envfiles folder (or really any one of the .env files, does not matter which), and rename the copy Editor.env and it should load fine in the Route Editor

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
