Did you spot this too?

I recently watched the new NARNIA film and noticed one thing. When the train is in the shot coming out of the station, it has GWR coaches, but because of using Bradley Manor, it has a BR emblem on the tender. Anyone else spot this mistake

Yes
But still, at least it was only the logo that was wrong. Film makers have made much worse mistakes in the past!

Well now...
Young Winston, 1972: 9F 92203 crudely disuguised as a south african locomotive with the addtion of a cowcatcher, headlight and oversize chimney. The result was completely unconvincing.
Shining Through, 1991: A film set in wartime Switzerland, but with railway scenes filmed at St Pancras using 44932 and 80080.
The Thirty-Nine Steps, 1935: A train, supposedly from Kings Cross, is seen bursting from a tunnel behind a Swindon 4-6-0.
The list goes on...many more good examples can be found in the October 2003 Railway Magazine.

Mission Impossible - TGV crossing Kent with no overhead wires, allowing a helicopter to buzz it, and eventually follow it into the Channel Tunnel :o

Nope. I noticed it was a GW loco with matching coaches!

Isn't it 102 Dalmations where Cruella gets on the Orient Express behind none other than Flying Scotsman, which suddenly morphs into a black 5 (?) with a maroon rake in the countryside :D

There's a B&W film out there about a lass who goes up to the highlands on a sleeper with footage both inside and of an LMS black 5 with wooden sleepers racing past the lochs :D Now if that isn't prototypical...........

And that bit of footage was actually 33116 and a 4-TC on the G&SW, the TGV was computer generated!

Ah, I thought you might have been talking about a Eurostar TGV, in which case going through Kent with no wires would have been feasible :)

There's a bit of TGV in The Bourne Identity, only this time it is under wires and he gets off in Gare du Nord (I think) :D

On a sligtly OT note I just took (and passed :D ) my driving theory test and the final clip on the Hazard part showed a narrow bridge over which shot a Freightliner Grey 90.

You mean Scotsman in apple green??

Didn't the Midland Railway have American-style Pullman cars at one time? Found them on the Vintage Carriages Trust site as grounded bodies.

Charlotte Grey- the French resistance blow up 92240! But later the shots of the children being taken away are filmed on French preserved railways....go figure!

Also there have been loads of old films when the train sequence was just a collage of any bits of film they had! Its not unusual to see three or four different locos and trains all meant to be the same one.

That Kinder Bueno advert - clearly an MK1 on the inside, then a 442 is shown rushing out of a tunnel.
