Ashford Chart Leacon Thumper

Post by viperskil »

Yesterday, when I was dropping things of at the dump in Ashford I spotted the driving car of what looked like a Thumper in Connex South Central livery, a mate thought the carriage number on the driving car was 70018. 1) Can anybody confirm this and if possible can they give the unit number. 2) Can anybody confirm why it was there?

isnt it the Hastings service spare i assume its been split for maintainance unless they are using it as a shunter, best bet is the Southern Electrics Locomotive Group i believe they are based or atlest most members are from ashford.
