Leighton Buzzard [REAL] news - DHR tank visit

Just to say the DHR tank will be at the LBR in April and May - and will be starring alongside the other Indian locos - 740 and Rishra.

Lets see if it copes with the track.

Hmmm, knowing the problems the L&B has with the back to back dimensions on Vandyke road crossing, the guage could be a tad's tight

Interesting Stuff. Knowing its owner its quite protective (understandably) of it I should think there have been a fair number of checks to make sure it all goes smoothly.

I might (just) be able to make it down in the first week of April to see it.

Does anyone know if the DHR replica coaching stock is coming with it?

I've heard rumours that the LBR won't be only line No.19 will be visiting this year - keep your eyes peeled.

I know from my (late) uncle a surprise visitor that may come later this year - Sept gala I believe.

I should be there in April and May at various point s- the first weekend in Aprl is the most liekly for me.

DOn't know about the coaches - sorry Bruce. Hope so though!
