Hi all. When I view a profile and click on 'view all posts by xxxxxx', I get the first page - but when I try to move to the next by clicking on 2, I get a message saying 'No topics or posts met your search criteria'.

Anyone any ideas? If this has already been covered I apologise, and could you please point me towards the thread?

Regards

I've just tried the same with your good self...and get no problems.

Must have been a glitch in the system. Could you try again with the same user and if you encounter the same problem, PM me the username and we'll see what the problem may be.

Used to do exactly the same for me until I moved to BB and then it stopped doing it - don't know if there is a link?

I've had occaisions when that's occurred but it usually works.

I'm on dial-up and use IE. Might've been when I used AOL?

Thanks all. It seems to happen with every username. I'm on AOL dial-up, so maybe it's a universal problem?

I've just tried it an it doesn't work.

Know someone else who's with AOL and it doesn't work for them either.

Tend to search words.

Works OK doing that.

I'm afraid that I have the same problems and I'm on AOL broadband. There does seem to be a problem accessing this site with the AOL browser. I've also found that the "find posts since last visit" etc. buttons don't work either.
Other sites that seem to use the same forum software as this, seem to work fine.

Cheers,
Kevin

It is not just AOL. In work I use IE and at home I use Firefox. Both show the same problem when I am browsing the site.

Normally I hit the page "show me posts since my last visit" and refresh it. Sometimes for reasons unclear to me the 2 1/2 pages of posts suddenly shrinks to a couple of posts and everything else vanishes.

Don't know why. I happens on IE and Firefox.

I guess it's just a wonder of modern technology. It's stumped me for sure.

Thanks for your help,

I know on other forums, issues like this often occur due to columes of post. On one I use the page numbers go wrong when a topic reaches a certain point, so you select next page and get the error mentioned above. I'd imagine the same problem is occuring when you want to view a users posts, if it is a user like me, who has wasted far too much time on here since signing up , the the database probably cannot cope and gets confused.

Realised I searched differently.

I click on the profile of a poster at the bottom of one of their posts and then read all posts by and it works.

Hope this helps? :)

Cheers
