West London line

So, I'm getting started !
The first screenshot of the West London Line. It isn't fantastic, but it shows you all the line already built.
This is the West Brompton station. The platforms are a little short, so I'll add another piece of platform later.
The line currently goes from the river thames to west brompton, nearly one km ! But it will progress slowly.

Looks like a good start. I might be worth using DEM'ed terrain (unless you have). Even if London's fairly flat (I think), it'd be worth it for putting in the Thames.

I terraformed the terrain with DEMEX, but this area seems totally flat. Even the Thames can't be seen !

The West London Line is in London Robert...

It runs Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction calling at West Brompton and Kensington Olympia.

i went on this line the other day and there were some very smart train spotters on board i love it when it changes from panto to 3rd rail also dont forget platform 1 at clapham doesnt have any track

i cant blame them for not renumbering the station, 15 platforms thats a lot of signs to change lol btw paul the route is coming along lovley cant wait for it

Platform 1 is planned to be re-layed with track for the West London Line, with platform two being used by the East London Line extension. A few stations no longer have platform 1s. Queenstown Road Battersea is another one IIRC (one station to the North on the South Western lines to Waterloo).

Went to Watford for Christmas shopping and took the train (No way am I going to spend hours up there looking for a parking space!).
Approaching Watford High Street I noticed that the track for the line to Croxley Green has now been removed. I used to like that run during my BR days although I don't think the line was ever officialy closed!

The plans for the Met. Line have been talked about for years now. The bit that makes me laugh is that they stopped the Bakerloo Line running to Watford Jcn. in 1982 because the DC platforms were unable to cope with the etxra traffic and now they want to send LONGER Met trains there instead.
I also wonder what the local residents think about Watford tube station closing. In my opinion this has the same bearing as Crossrail - a lot of years talking about it but hardly any building work.

sorry mate, its sad isnt it i get the same feeling about the adur valley railway theyve only decided to knock possibilities of a rebuild even further on the head by building an extension to some stupid modern building and they have ripped out the original southwater station sign out hope its gone to a museum
