That looks like a very scenic route, What stations does it include?

The line is between Perth and Inverness. Version 2 is being built, and will go to Aberdeen, I think.

Cheers

All stations Perth to Inverness and the Strathspey Line to Boat of Garton.

Am now working on the next stage Inverness to Aberdeen including Burghead, Dufftown and Waterloo Goods lines.

(the climb out of dufftown is rather loud)

Aberdeen to Inverness

Post by derek123 »

I like the possiblitiy that someone is going to do the Aberdeen to Inverness route, especially with the route to Speyside as suggested.

Look forward to more info on this

Keep up the good work

All track is now laid except Aberdeen Station which I am working on at present. As the route is set late 80s/early 90s as far as track plans and speed limits go it wont include any lines that existed prior.

Always glad to hear of interest in this project as have had many positive comments so far about the Highland Mainline.

I think this will be my last work in MSTS as the new sims should be out this year and will turn my attentions to learning the ropes with them. I am also determined to crack 3d Modeling to a reasonable standard. :-?

Sounds great John. Love the Highland Mainline and as I'm from Elgin originally, can't wait to see the Inverness - Aberdeen line!!

Sounds like you're really dedicated to this project! If the Highland Mainline is anything to go by, it will be fantastic!

Would love to see the two routes joined up.

Inveness to Ft William would have been a fantastic scenic route.

Pity they never got around to it.
