Bachmann Limitied Edition 55022 and a Hornby 50007. 55022s had the detailing and plates put on it, and 50007 has had black backed etched nameplates affixed as well... :)

Now, what to do with my upcoming birthday money.... :D

A Guagemaster handheld controller and BR Royal Scot (the newer Bachmann one).

Have to say, looks a bit small compared to a few others...

Never get Christmas/Birthday money of anyone (well, apart from £8 from people on my paper round, which wont go too far model train wise - 3 Railway Modellers - , but it's £8 more than last year :) ), but I might get something for my Birthday (16th Jan). Great month for a birthday with the January sales eh :-) .

I got a Farish V2 (Green Arrow), a Farish Deltic in BR Blue, and a couple of MK1 Maroon coaches to go with my steam locos.

I have to say that being new to N gauge I am really impressed with it. It is amazing how many coaches you can fit on to a reasonably sized layout. I've been running my large logo 47 round with 7 MK2 Blue/grey coaches and it really captures the length brilliantly.
