Hi everyone, I am new to this forum (and trainsimming). I am an ex-BR loco engineer (NOT Driver, although I did some unofficial driving). I now live in Taiwan where I am an Assistant Director of Taiwan High Speed rail Corporation.

BUT..... in the 1980s I was the Commissioning Team Manager for all new BR Freight locos and I spent many happy hours on the footplate of re-built 37s on the West Highland Line (and the Far North, Kyle, Cambrian, Cornish China Clays, South Wales Coal, Buxton Limestone etc etc)

I want to recreate this but I need your advice.

What is the best Class 37 in blue with the large logo?

What are the best coaches (Mk 1s of course!!)

Is there a West Highland line route?

I appreciate that this may seem obvious to you all but I am only starting up. Your advice would be very gratefully recieved.

You'll find all you need (except the complete West Highland line) is available here, courtesy of some very talented trainsimmers. Use the search facility for what you want to find, 37404 and Ian Morgans Mark 1's will no doubt be what you are after!
