I'm not sure if the engines will stick to the tracks in MSTS at that kind of angle :o I don't think MSTS has been programed for cog railways. :-?

You're welcome to try it though.
Exactly. We all have to start somewhere. If you'd asked me two years ago if I thought I''d ever make models for MSTS my answer would have been no...I'm now a model maker for the Groudle Glen project.
One of the first things I learned when I joined these forums was that if you want something for MSTS, then unless somebody else happens to want it as well, you have to build it yourself. Learning the ropes has been difficult but satisying. I'll never forget the thrill of making my first upload to UKTS.
Indeed. I started with reskins and moved up to model making. I was only successful in make one model though (Penrhyn Open Coach) before I moved into the field which will take me to college (recording arts technology). I have some other enging models still stuck in MSTS that I want to one day finish (Bill and Ben/Judy and Alfred..which are suprisingly accurate)...but that "one day" will be when I get the free time to return back to the world of MSTS. :)
I say go for it Mousepound. There are plenty of people here who will give you tips and advice, should you run into trouble. ;)

The last time I tried to make a route, it was terrible. Some of the station platforms looked like they were floating. And the tracks that were actually on hills, the terrain was so uneven with the tracks.
You awake?

Exactly I've started my First Route and I'm not shure what its going to turn out like.

I recon I may have to rip it all up and start again at least that way it will look better then my first Try.

...and if you'd done a quick search of the route builders forum, you'd probably find the solutions already there. Route building is very frustrating (belive me, I've tried), but there's plenty of people here who are willing to help

JonathonAG is the current maker of the Sodor route. The construction of the route may be passed on to me, or any other users.

Since when did I say it would be passed on to you mousepound. If anything, if he wanted to, it would go to Daz, the person who has helped me a lot with the Sodor Route i was building, he who let me use the models he made for his msts sodor but ended up loosing the route through a crash.

Come on Chaps, keep things polite here.

Mousepound64, did JonathonAG actually say that he could be passing the route over to you to construct? I believe not.

You have been 'chasing up' the construction of this route in several posts, and more than one thread. Please refrain from inflaming the situation any further, and keep your posts factual.

Thankyou.

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

Not THAT much, its only unless I'm REALLY impatient & rude, but I'm not that kind of a guy who wants everything immedietly.

Being rude on the UKTS forum is not going to happen. Anyone who is will not get a chance to do so again.

Do I make myself clear???

In fairness to him, this is a popular route that I'm sure is wanted by a lot of people-and, if modelled in it's entirety, would have almost infinate activity potential. Still, with the new sims coming out in 2006 perhaps someone could then start a new version that would take advantage of all the capabilties of that sim. Perhaps, mousepound, if you buy TMTS or KRS, it might be worth looking at their route editors and having a go youself? After all, if you get stuck I'm sure plenty of people on the forums would be willing to help! :D
