I was just looking on Rails of Sheffield and they have Flying Scotsman in stock!!!

No problem at all. I reserved mine from my local model shop as I dont trust internet ordering incase theres somthing wrong. They still dont have it in but delivery is expected on Monday.

I've seen 60077 running and thought that's good enough for me. I don't order before the first ones are out, however.

Well I did, but that was with a Standard 5 - my favourite class in my favourite livery (BR(W) Green of course!)

i saw this loco at the railfest last year on the hornby layout, not running though.


anyone know whats the next NRM loco being modelled ?

Mine's just arrived - great! Performs well, highly detailed - shames it's not a GWR prototype but you can't win them all!

I got mine on Monday and its the best Hornby model ever had.
Straight out of the box and it ran very very smoothly. and it worked very well on my layouts Hornby Dublo TPO train.

I've got all the modern Hornby locos except an A4 (I really don't know why!) and it's good - although I prefer the Bullieds or the Grange
