Thomas and friends for MSTS

Post by hertford »

I know that there have been many posts on this before, but I was wondering, are people making Thomas and friends models outside of UKTS?
If so, post your URL's here.
I myself have an interest in Percy for some reason, post pics of them here, especially Percy, I cannot find enough pics of him on google.

Thanks.

OK ...If I am right I'm sure this is a wind up about all the Thomas talk....There should be a troublesome truck called 'Paul'....am I the only one that has sussed this from the start.....lol
Good one Paul...

I enjoy reading this forum and have learnt a lot from it and I'm also for freedom of speech and sarcasm for that matter and yes I agree that some of the posts placed here deserve a sarcastic answer but remember guys that if you force a forum member out with sarcastic answers etc then they will only wind you up under a different name with the topic that you all hate the most....yes Thomas and his friends....Of course this is if I am right in my assumption??

Wind up or no wind up, common sense and decency are the rules around here.

We don't want any troublesome trucks on this line, do we?

This wind-up discussion makes me wonder how many of those seeking troublesome threads here are actually children and how many are fathers trying to get away with a simulation of the stuff - instead of buying the real ... merchandising item in the shop.

If one of you fathers is a lawyer or a good friend of one, maybe you want to set up a site devoted to the simulation of trouble and see how real it gets. ;-)
Matt will certainly provide a bit of his know-how on installing and running phpBB if he can redirect all Sodorians to another site outside his area of responsibility.

Umm...thanks for the spam?

And to you others...Just because it's a TtTE for MSTS related topic doesn't mean it's "troublesome". :-?

Now then, to give a response to the original topic...
Hertford, most (if not all) of the models of TtTE characters being built by members of these forums are intended for UKTS. There aren't too many being built at present, but if you search around you can look at some of the old threads (tho be careful not to resurrect the really old threads from like 2 or 3 years ago...those are long since dead).
If you want to more information about characters (and of the TV + book series), try browsing through this site Sodor Island. :) The site's run by a very good friend of mine, and the site itself is one of the best places on the web to find info on TtTE ;)
:) "It's better to give than to receive.......but you need to receive in order to give!" :-? :o

Gents, just to set the record straight I actually like TTTE myself and have three sons that have nearly all the books and video's.
My apologies to any fans who are genuinely posting comments on this forum on this topic but of late it appears that the same questions are being repeated over and over again and as sillyevan27 commented that old threads are being ressurected which is obviously peeing off the more serious members of this forum and probably why the genuine questions aren't being answered.....hence my comment of a wind up....if it isn't then it's obviously someone that finds it difficult understanding what the more established forum members have been saying to them?

Whilst on the subject though, what does surprise me with TTTE and the copyright regulations etc is that who ever it currently is that owns the rights to the TTTE empire hasn't exploited the fact that a Sodor route could have been written for all the current train sims and could have made them even more cash.....I'm really surprised about that as they have every other marketing avenue covered from what I can see.
Anyway must dash.....the Fat controller is heading my way and he doesn't look a happy man....
regards
Kev
