R&ER Bonnie Dundee/Northern Rock

Post by Nvincer »

Does anyone know where I could lay my hands on some Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and Bure Valley Railway Locomotive Drawings?

Thanks in advance
Ben

Nice too see Bonnie Dundee in MSTS, one of my favourite 15" locos!
But are you sure you're building it to the drawings I sent you as, no offence, the proportions are all wrong.
I think maybe what you need is a utility called Drawing Ruler, which will work out the dimensions of a drawing for you. Frustratingly, I can't remember where I downloaded it (I found it on a link someone posted on here), but I do have the file and could send it to you if you want.

No offence, but what is it meant to be?

Bonnie Dundee of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. If you don't recognise her, it's probably because the drawing is a bit old, she was rebuilt as a tender engine in 1998 (I think!)

It's Bonnie Dundee as originally built

I have many a shot of her in tank form, and again no offence, but the model shown above is nothing like the real thing....

Yeah, I see what you mean :D :D -

But I don't think that it is:

"the model shown above is nothing like the real thing...."

Oh well, another loco heading for the recycle bin :( :( :(

I wouldn't go that far Ben!
If you are using the drawings that puzzles me as she looks far too long. Maybe you made her too narrow?
A better set of textures would also make a world of difference. Yes, there's a lot to do, but nothing that can't be done...
