Isle of Man

Post by JonPotter »

Just seen some new Isle of Man reskins - a real shame that neither of them are accurate:

Loch is splet with an H on the end rather than an K

Kissack, being one of the larger Peacocks (but not the largest, that being Mannin) never ran with smaller tanks.

Ah well - but GREAT reskins other than that!
also the name is shown as LO CH coz of the pipe which ran through the nameplates.

Yes due to the injector overflow pipe disecting it..

Route would be nice.. certainly no plans to do it in MSTS.. however its on the cards when the next gen of sims comes out.

Try the route builder's forum, this is not intended to be a rude reply btw ;) but the peoploe in there are more likely to be able to help you, and probably more willing so why not give it a try?

As most of the problems on the re-skin " LOCH " were due to my original model I have had a fiddle with the thing.
Seems a shame not to get the loco abit better after all the hard work.
If the re-skin author gets in touch I can let him have my modified files[/img]

dribble dribble dribble !!!!
i have become a huge fan of the isle of man railway since i hear is will be built for ts and since i went there in 1995 and i was pulled by loch, it was facing douglas with its dark red livery. that day an elm tree fell onto the track between douglas and ballasalla some passengers got out to shift it, i wanted to help but i was too young and i was recovering from a broken leg with a calliper on and with crutches too !

there is always a real life thomas the tank story on every railway !
